Q: Where is Bull Thistle Bridal, LLC. located?
A: 4 N Canal Street, Oxford, NY 13830
Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: We do not carry heels so please bring whatever shoes you plan on wearing during your event.
Q: What is a bridal sample size?
A: When you visit a regular retail Bridal Shop, they carry a range of dresses in sizes 8-12 and 18-22. You would try on those dresses, find a style that you like then order the dress in your size. It would then take 8-12 months to manufacture the dress and it would be shipped to the store for pick up.
Q: What sizes does Bull Thistle Bridal, LLC. sell?
A: Our inventory is constantly changed but right now we have wedding dresses in sizes 4-26 and all others in sizes 0-28.
Q: I’m not sure I’ll fit in the sample dress sizes. What should I do?
A: You should make an appointment to try on dresses to see what your bridal size is.

Q: Do you sell other sizes besides sample sizes? If I find a dress I love, can you order it in my size?
A: We sell sample gowns exclusively. This includes bridal sizes 4-12 as well as plus sizes 14-26. All other dresses sizes 0-28. We can’t order any other sizes for you.
Q: What is the starting cost of wedding gowns at Bull Thistle Bridal, LLC.?
A: Our sample sale wedding dresses start at $125. All gowns are at least 70% off retail prices.
Q: Are appointments required to try on dresses?
A: Yes. Make an appointment online https://www.bullthistlebridal.com/book-online now! Your personal bridal consultant will be there to help you browse and try on dresses as well as answer any questions you may have. You may always browse our online dress selection without an appointment.
Q: Do you offer alterations?
A: No, not at this time. We can recommend several stores and seamstresses we have personally worked with.
Q: Can I return my dress for a refund?
A: No. All sales are final and there are no returns or refunds.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I do accept Debit/Credit cards but require a 3% surcharge. I also accept Venmo but the best way to pay is cash. There is an ATM within walking distance.

Q: What undergarments do I wear to my appointment?
A: Someone will be helping you get dressed/undressed during your appointment. We appreciate you dressing accordingly and wear undergarments that are appropriate. If you will be wearing a compression undergarment, please bring it to your appointment. Your dress will fit better if you wear the proper foundation.

Q: When should I start shopping for a dress?
A: You should start at least 12 months out to determine your style and shape. But, at Bull Thistle Bridal, LLC, we specialize in last minute brides because you take the dress home the day that you purchase it.

Q: Can I bring food/drink to my appointment?
A: Who doesn't want to pop a cork during a special event! We do not serve any refreshments during your appointment and try to avoid the opportunity for the fabrics to be exposed. But, if you would like to make special arrangements just ask when your appointment is scheduled.
